Dr. Daniel Baronas is a graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and was born and raised in St. Catharines. His academic and athletic endeavours initially led him to McMaster University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Honours Kinesiology degree. While at McMaster, he spent 5 years on the Varsity football team, serving as a captain of the 2011 Vanier Cup Championship team. He was also a representative of his team for McMaster Athletes Care, volunteering at various youth programs and events in the Hamilton community. During the off-season Daniel was a part of the Varsity Strength & Conditioning staff working directly with the men’s basketball team. While part of this program, he was hired externally as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Montreal Canadian AHL affiliate Hamilton Bulldogs during their 2010-2011 season. There he was able to experience how athletes at the professional level deal with injuries and training during the season.
Dr. B practices Diversified chiropractic technique and is proficient in manual therapies, muscle release therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, movement assessments and various modalities. After being away from the Niagara Region for over a decade, he is excited to get back into the community volunteering with various programs and events. Dr B loves all types of sports, with a competitive history playing football, basketball, and baseball. He still plays touch football and completed his first half-marathon race in September 2017. With his love for sports, especially football, he plans to coach with the Niagara Spears program in upcoming seasons. Dr. B stresses a proactive lifestyle of health and fitness. He emphasizes that chiropractic care is not just for the injured individual/athlete, but should be used to optimize both health and performance on the playing field.
